Main Gate

With over 1 million square feet of concrete to pour, the Main Gate project had its fair share of engineering problems to resolve. With a seasoned crew dedicated to handling jobs in the Southeast, these problems were tackled head-on with solutions based on years of experience working both within the industry and in the local geography. On Building 200, an overhead power line needed to be considered when erecting the exterior walls. When it was determined that the electrical company would not consider dropping the line, we had to act fast. The erection plan was altered, and an interior crane road was poured, allowing for the panels to be erected from the inside of the building. It was determined that this same process would need to be recreated on Building 300 when it was deemed unsafe to locate cranes so close to the property’s retention pond.
