Elixir

At ViCon, we excel at executing plans, ensuring that every aspect, from materials to manpower, aligns to achieve the General Contractor’s goals on the project. Project Elixir was a great example of ViCon’s ability to execute. The supply chain in this geography is limited in the total yardage that they can pour and service daily. Through excellent scheduling and preparedness, ViCon was able to reduce the planned number of pours required by six, reduce the number of concrete suppliers needed on the job, and improve workplace safety by reducing both traffic and unfamiliar operators on site. Material logistics were not the only challenge on this job as the project also called for a 170,000 sq ft portion of the building to have interior rooms comprised of two 8” interior tilt-up panels to be stood next to each other with an 8” gap in between. With ViCon’s close relationships with our vendors, we were able to engineer a “Top Clip” solution with our brace manufacturer, which saved tens of thousands of dollars in brace rental and concrete deadman along a 1,381 lf of wall.
